The REAL DEAL

This year for Mitchell was the real deal.  The league he played on plays by all of the high school rules.  He learned a lot from an excellent coach and made some amazing friends.  Mitchell's elbow didn't allow him to pitch too much this year but his hitting game improved immensely due to the great coaching he received.  The team was undefeated in regular season play!  Winning games with scores like 19-6!  It was real baseball!

This was the first year the boys could lead off in order to steal a base.  Mitchell was so determined!

Mitchell spent most of the season on third base.

This was after the first post season game.  The team has just lost and were stumped.  How does a team undefeated during regular season play get beat the first game of the playoffs?  Hard to figure out.
